Biography
Award-winning Director and Photographer, Olivier Staub has earned a place among the most sought-after talents on the international advertising scene thanks to his mastery of visual storytelling and cinematic composition. His ability to transform and elevate a script into a visually striking and emotionally resonant work, along with his approach to storytelling — both instinctive and highly refined — stems from a deep understanding of every element of the craft that allows a film to land with emotional clarity.

His short film 37 Days, shot at 2,800 meters above sea level inside a glass cube, has won over 65 international awards, including four Cannes Lions, a Grand Prix at the Cristal Awards, as well as honors from D&AD, One Show, Clio, London International Awards, Eurobest, and Epica. Staub is regularly cited among the most singular and influential commercial directors of his generation.
Staub has directed major campaigns for brands such as Mazda, Air Canada, Pantene, Coca-Cola, Nike, Amazon, McDonald's, and Fujitsu. He also devotes a significant part of his work to social, humanitarian, and environmental causes, creating powerful, acclaimed films for organizations like Doctors Without Borders, Humanity & Inclusion, and Centraide.
Deeply committed to creative mentorship, Staub has been actively supporting and guiding the next generation of filmmakers for several years.
