Intact Colors is an Intact Insurance commercial directed by Olivier Staub for Cossette. A cinematic and playful insurance film built around strong mise en scène, original characters and tailored visual worlds. Each frame is carefully crafted to suggest a backstory and make every character feel specific, original and alive; building the film into a gallery of people, colours and small details that reflects Intact's commitment to protecting what's most important in every case.
Director's Statement
Insurance is not the easiest world to make cinematic. That was exactly what interested me. For Intact | Colors, I wanted to build a global film through mise en scène, personality and character. Each frame was carefully tailored to suggest a backstory and make every character feel specific, original and alive. The film becomes a gallery of people, colours and small details. The choice in music and voice over is also in the same vein: it is a character in its own right. We established a sense of quirkiness with an atypical voice bringing life to these relatable situations.
