No Limits
Canadian Tire — Publicis
About this project
Canadian Tire No Limits is a commercial directed by Olivier Staub for Publicis. The film is about freedom, the idea of having no limits, and the strength of a wide diversity of characters. Profoundly human and cinematic, it conveys a sense of Canada through a sensitive lens, shaped by movement and the simple freedom of enjoying life without limits. Regrettably, it remains among those projects that never found its way to television screens.
Director's Statement
The film is freedom. I wanted to create a profoundly human and cinematic film built around the idea of having no limits. Seen through a lens of sensitivity and the simple concept of freedom, the inspiration was to go beyond the commercial barrier and enter the intimacy of the characters, each with their own energy, presence and way of moving through the world. This film stays one of my favorite films and shoot souvenirs, yet regrettably, it remains among those projects that inexplicably never found its way to television screens.
